The Dakine Daytripper Helmet is ready to roll out. Equipped with everything you need to stay safe, it features an adjustable fit, Fidlock buckle, and passive vents for temperature regulation. The shell is made with ABS foam that prioritizes durability and safety, with removable, audio compatibile ear pads to keep you moving and grooving.

Construction

70% ABS / 30% Recycled ABS Injection Molded Hard Shell– The shell, or outer layer of the helmet, is a rigidsurface typically made from Acrylonitrile ButadieneStyrene (ABS) high-impact plastic, and can helpprotect the head against sharp objects, knocks andabrasions. It also helps spread impact energy over alarger portion of the helmet during a fall.

100% Recycled EPS Foam Liner– The inner layer of a helmet is typically made from EPS(Expanded Polystyrene) foam and looks like Styrofoam.It’s designed to absorb impact. In a hard fall, the linerfoam can get compressed, a condition that you may ormay not be able to discern. A helmet should always bedestroyed and replaced after a serious fall.
