Designed to complement their carbon bars, the ENVE M7 Alloy Stem is incredibly strong and reliable, with only a slight weight penalty to carbon. It’s made with no-gap clamp areas that spread forces evenly around your bars, with stainless steel hardware tucked neatly out of the snag zone. This is a more affordable alternative to a carbon ENVE stem, without any discernable drop in performance.

Construction

Aluminum– Cold-forged and precision machined for maximum strength and weight savings. Cold-forging is a process of smashing a block of raw aluminum billet into a shape. This process increases strength and reliability of the part by aligning the grain structure of the alloy. Following this process, the forging is then machined to its final shape

Stainless Steel Hardware– M5 stainless steel hardware ensures reliable corrosion free performance over the long haul.

No Gap Faceplate and Clamp Area– Ensures even clamping and secure handlebar retention. Clamp area features beveled edges to prevent scoring of sensitive carbon handlebar laminates.

Blind Bolt Holes and Shaping– Nothing sucks more than smashing your knee or tearing your shorts on sharp edges or exposed threads. Although more expensive and challenging to manufacture, blind bolt holes and the rounded shapes at the back of the stem help prevent this.
