Arguably the ski that put K2 back on the map for hard charging skiers, the K2 Mindbender 99 Ti Skis have been tweaked and prodded but their original intent remains clear – provide a stable and confident platform for the best skiers in the land to do their thing on. Built around an Aspen Micro Block core with Titanal Y-Beam construction to give you that feeling of invulnerability when you really need it.

Rocker Type
      Â
All-Terrain Rocker–        Skis with All-Terrain rocker have a gradual rise to the tip for great versatility in all conditions, with a short, low rise in the tail for added control variable snow.
      Â
Core
      Â
Aspen Micro Block Core–        Many small stringers of Aspen give a consistent flex, smooth feel, and damp ride.
      Â
Laminates
      Â
Bio Resin–        Increases bonding with the core, adds cold temperature strength, and is more sustainable than traditional resins.
      Â
      Â
Triaxial Braid–        A K2-patented machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core for pronounced torsional strength, while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood ski.
      Â
      Â
Titanal Y-Beam–        A Titanal laminate carefully cut into the shape of a “Y” puts the metal where it counts – over the edges in the forebody, full width under foot, and down the center in the tail, giving the ski maximum power and dampness with minimal weight gain.
      Â
Sidewalls
      Â
Twin Tech Sidewalls–        Full length sidewall construction for durability and energy transfer.
      Â
Base
      Â
   Sintered Base
      Â
Binding Compatibility
      Â
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

-    Terrain:    All-Mountain, Big Mountain                                    All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.                    Big MountainBig mountain skis are designed for charging big lines with high speeds and big airs. These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Skis in this category tend to be on the stiffer side, often with more rocker in the tip and less in the tail.           Â
