The Public Snowboards Dispute Snowboard is a medium flexing directional twin with the chops to throw spicy combos anywhere, anytime. Its Alert Camber profile and carbon / aramid reinforced construction provide ample pop in the trenches, tons of float in the froth, and enough control to nail your line with surgical precision. Rocker Type

Alert Camber– Hybrid camber profile is regular between the feet with a ride on the tip and tail. This unique camber and flex allows forgiveness on rails and extra snap getting off the ground.

Core

Poplar Light Core– A premium version of Public’s tried and true Poplar core using 100% FCS certified wood. Strategically placed lightweight paulownia wood throughout the core reduces weight but maintains a snappy feel, while strips of hardwood are placed underneath the bindings to reduce board breaks and increase insert retention.

Laminates

Biax Glass– All Public Snowboards are made using Biax fiberglass, creating a smooth and consistent flex from tip to tail while allowing the board to stay nimble and predictable.

Aramid Stringers– Aramid Stringers are strategically placed in a V pattern in the tip and tail for increased durability, dampening and a dose of added pop.

Carbon Stringers– A 20mm wide carbon stringer running tip to tail increases overall pop and response without increasing torsional flex to keep the board feeling lively and nimble underfoot. Carbon stringers are the most effective way to add pop without increasing weight.

Sidewalls

Urethane Sidewalls– Urethane sidewalls are used on all Public snowboards for their superior dampening properties compared to industry standard ABS and P-Tex sidewalls. Urethane sidewalls are also more durable against impacts to prevent your board from delaminating.

Sintered Base– Sintered bases are more porous for maximum wax absorption, and more abrasion resistant. In other words, faster and more durable!

Ability Level: Advanced-Expert Advanced-ExpertWhether you charge the steepest lines, hit the biggest jumps in the park or carve with race-like precision, advanced to expert level skis, snowboards, boots and bindings are for the more aggressive rider. In skis and snowboards, you’ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.

Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.

Flex Rating: Stiff StiffThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers’ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
