Ski crampons are like tire chains – you can go without them for what seems like forever, but when you need them you REALLY need them. The perfect ski crampon for the Salomon MTN binding is this one, made by Plum in France. Mounting the crampons is super simple, as they slide in vertically from the top rather than sliding in from the side, and the clever axle design centers the crampon without need for the plastic clip that ships with the MTN bindings. Color-coded for ease of identifying the width; 90mm is red, 100mm is black, and 110mm is dark blue.
