The combination of a stiff 125 flex, very reasonable weight, and performance very nearly on par with many good alpine boots makes the Scarpa Gea RS Alpine Touring Ski Boots hard to pass up, and account for the many pairs you see on the feet of pro patrollers, ski coaches, and backcountry hardcores even in the ski area. A stout combination of Carbon Grilamid® LFT, conventional Grilamid®, and Pebax® in the tongue is stiff, light, and easy for bootfitters to modify to accommodate a huge range of foot shapes. Add a genuine Intuition® Cross Fit Pro Flex liner and you’ve got backcountry perfection.
