The Troy Lee Designs A3 MIPS Bike Helmet is the newest edition of TLD’s top of the line trail helmet, and it’s somehow better than any they’ve made before. The A3 utilizes a new MIPS harness that’s integrated into the retention system, upgrading your comfort and safety in one fell swoop. On the subject of safety, they’ve also made the coverage deeper, giving you the maximum protection a half shell can offer. The one problem with the A3 is that it’s just a little too comfortable, so you’ll often forget you’re wearing it and find yourself driving home with it still on your head, or clipping in the magnetic buckles before bed just to make sure you stay safe if you dream a little bit too fast.
