Slim, lightweight and ideal for progressive street and park riders who want the most minimal footwear and most direct board feel they can get, the Vans Hi-Standard Linerless DX Snowboard Boots deliver the ultimate skate-like ride. Soft flex, less “stuff” to deal with, and the sense of having nothing between you and the board are a unique combination available only with the Hi-Standard LL DX.

Flex

Flex Rating– 1 – 2 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)

Instep Flex Zone– The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.

Fit

Powercuff Strap– Providing extra support at the top of the boot for increased stability and response. Its configuration gives riders customizable levels of engagement and the option of wrapping the strap around the internal liner or the exterior tongue.

Pleasurecuff– The supple elasticity of the PleasureCuff delivers a cushioned, comfortable fit that keeps your calves supported.

Liner

Linerless Technology– Linerless technology redefines simplicity and modern comfort. Its lightweight construction and slimmed-down upper reduces the boot’s overall size and weight. An increased internal foam package provides a softer, more cushioned feel. Without internal harnessing, riders will experience unmatched ease in and out of the boot. A calculated combination of support and free-flex articulation makes Linerless tech ideal for street and park riders, or riders looking for comfort and ease of use.

Lacing System

Traditional with Powercuff Strap– Power is the operative word with the PowerCuffStrap. It provides extra support at the top ofthe boot for increased stability and response.Its configuration gives the Standard XF acustomizable level of engagement.

Footbed

V1 POPCUSH Footbed– Single-density POPCUSH construction / 3D-molded anatomical shape / Airflow perforations / Nylex moisture-wicking top sheet.

Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced Intermediate-AdvancedWhether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Flex Rating: Soft SoftThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers’ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
