The Yes. PYL Snowboard is a snowboarders snowboard. It combines the technology of a tapered underbite with a stiff directional profile to create a platform that doesn’t compromise on anything. Pick your line, then pick it again and do it even better. Constructed with a classic wood core, you can’t go wrong with this versatile board designed by Mark Kowalchuk and friends.
Rocker Type
CamRock 1-4-2– The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.
Flex
Flex Rating– 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)
Shape
Directional
Tapered Underbite– More floatation and total edgecontrol.Similar looking to “wings” orchannels on a surfboard, itfunctions a little different onsnow. Each side of the board’seffective edge is segmented into3 distinct parts that step horizon-tally inward rather than tapering.Traditional “tapered boards” takethe full sidecut and pull the tailinward, which is away from thearc of your turn – this is why theytend to wash out under hard car-ving. Tapered UnderBite correctsthis by increasing the sidecutdepth as you move towards thetail creating a corrective “hook”to the taper. The board blendsinto turns effortlessly, and hasthe directional drive and floatyou’d expect from a taperedboard.
Core
Full Poplar– Yes.’s baseline core for tip-to-tail woodcore snowboard construction. A core that strikes a predictable balance between durability and consistent flex and lightweight feel.
